The Ndutu Migration Safari During Calving tour is designed to maximize your chances of witnessing the great wildebeest migration in the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu areas during January, February, and March.

Thousands of wildebeest graze on the rich plains, and predator activity is high, offering excellent sightings of cheetahs, lions, hyenas, and leopards, with a good chance to witness dramatic kills.

TOUR PLAN

Day 1: Arrival In Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport, your private driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, in preparation for your safari departure the following day.

Day 2: Arusha To Ndutu Region
After breakfast, you’ll meet your driver for a full-day game drive to view the wildebeest migration in Ndutu region.

In the evening, after completing your game drive you’ll head to camp for dinner and overnight.

The Lake Ndutu area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem, is an alkaline lake that supports a variety of wildlife.

From December to April, the short-grass plains are populated by the wildebeest migration, along with elephants, birds, and resident game.

Day 3: Ndutu Area
After breakfast, you will begin with a game drive in the Ndutu Area. In the afternoon, your guide will spot a picnic site for you to have lunch have.

You will proceed with game drive until evening whereby you will return to the camp for an overnight and dinner.

Throughout the day, you’ll learn about the Serengeti’s great migration, a world-renowned event that Tanzania proudly hosts.

As the sun sets, you’ll appreciate the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world, famed for its annual migration.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will begin a drive towards Ngorongoro Crater. Upon, arrival you will descend into the crater for a game drive until in the evening. Overnight and dinner at Karatu.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park
On this last day of your safari, you will begin having your breakfast then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive until in the afternoon.

You will then be driven to Arusha or airport to catch your flight back home. And this marks an end of your epic safari.
