Though Kitulo is not a classic big game destination, its open highland grasslands and forest patches support diverse fauna and show remarkable plant life. Getting There
Kitulo National Park is located in southern Tanzania and is best accessed by road from Mbeya, approximately a 3–4 hour drive through scenic highland terrain. The park can also be reached from neighbouring regions with private transfers or 4×4 vehicles recommended due to variable road conditions. There is no major airport adjacent to the park, so travellers typically fly into Mbeya Airport and continue by road.
