Day 0 Arrival in Moshi

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your luxury lodge in Moshi. Meet your guide for a pre climb briefing and check your gear. Time permitting, enjoy a short visit to local markets or a waterfall.

Day 1 Moshi to Umbwe Gate, Trek to Umbwe Camp

Drive to Umbwe Gate for registration then begin the steep rainforest ascent. Trek five to six hours through lush forest to Umbwe Camp at about 2,850 meters. Enjoy camp dinner and early rest.

Day 2 Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp

Continue the climb through steep ridges and moorland to reach Barranco Camp at approximately 3,960 meters. The terrain becomes more open and offers sweeping mountain views.

Day 3 Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Day 4 Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
